Sustainable business development and social accountability with regard to the local community are themes which guide the actions of the companies in the Esphera Group.
Business profitability is fundamental in meeting the expectations of shareholders, deepening relations with customers in a climate of mutual confidence, achieving better conditions of competitiveness, adopting principles of continual improvement, increasing motivation, competence and employee qualification, rewarding innovation, reinforcing presence in foreign markets, diversifying the types of services and business areas, implement strategic partnerships which enable the creation of critical mass, space and dimension.
Throughout our 30 years of existence and as conscientious and responsible economic agents, it has always been the aim of our companies to align themselves as effective and active partners in a process of global sustainable development. As a result of this, there has been an alignment with policies which confer special attention to individuals, the responsibilities which we have undertaken in relation to employees, the needs and concerns of the local communities in which they are located as well as conservation of the natural environment.
These are principles which set forth in one form or another have always accompanied the evolution of the Group's companies. In addition to the constant investment in the range of skills and entry into new business segments, the strong and secure conviction that the future is founded on the present has not been violated.
When companies were incorporated, they were not naturally formally complying with the quality regulations or criteria of sustainability. However the idea of social and human accountability allied with the rigour of management are characteristics parallel to the evolution of said companies.
Putting into practice our principles and values and our management philosophy, there are many examples of actions designed and implemented to give expression to our priority concern with business sustainability and social responsibility, which are more fully described in Sustainability Reports.
