The construction of new facilities for the Fuel Operating Group of the Lisbon Airport

The main objective of this project carried out by the MOTA-ENGIL / ENSUL MECI / AMAL consortium for ANA - AEROPORTOS PORTUGAL, SA is the construction of new facilities for the Fuel Operating Group of the Lisbon Airport.
The works comprise the construction of fuel tanks for supplying the aircraft and the construction of administrative support buildings. In addition to these infrastructures, the project includes process control and maintenance, electromechanical installations, such as power supply, HVAC, water and drainage networks, fire prevention networks, telecommunication and safety networks, and instrumentation for controlling the whole process of receiving and dispatching fuel, as well as the entire installation.

MOTA-ENGIL is directly in charge of civil construction, ENSULMECI ensures the execution of the electromechanical component, while AMAL is responsible for the construction of fuel tanks and related pipework.
Following the construction of the new Fuel Operating Group, the old group will be dismantled (which is not part of this contract) in order to enable the extension of the airport's operating area.
